The government can ban anything and everything they see fit. From casualty pictures during World War II, to the first classic books in America. Before a book is banned from a library, city, or country, it must first be challenged. Challenging is when one attempts to get the material found offensive removed; a ban is when it is actually removed. In order to have a book successfully banned the challengers must prove that the material is not appropriate. Mark Twain's The Adventures Of Huckleberry Fin was banned in many different libraries in 1885. This is just one example of a classic that was banned due to people trying to censor others.
